The conservation of the fabric of heritage places often presents complex challenges for building owners and their advisers. The Architectural Conservation team uses its extensive expertise with conservation of a wide range of materials to identify strategies and techniques to solve these complex conservation challenges. Our unique hands-on approach enables us to either provide advice as consultants, or to actually carry out the conservation works on site.

What we do

We deliver solutions across the complete spectrum of heritage places, from small sculptures or wall paintings, to high-rise building facades or large engineering structures. We have in-house expertise on a wide range of materials, including:

  • Stone (granite, trachyte, marble, bluestone, sandstone, limestone)

International Conservation Services maintains an extensive international network of contacts with specialist knowledge of many traditional materials and methods of construction, and draws upon this network to access the latest practices and conservation techniques as required.

We work at all stages throughout the conservation process, including:
