Description

ICS was engaged by the Australian War Memorial to clean all of the external sandstone cladding on the lower levels of the original 1940s War Memorial building. This process was carried out in stages over two years to suit client needs, during which time we trialled various methods in order to find the most effective method of cleaning the sandstone to removal lichen and algal growth while minimising the potential for damage to the sandstone.
