Anzac memorial


The ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park, Sydney was opened in 1934, following four years of construction. ICS was engaged by the Memorial to undertake a conservation treatment program, including the construction of mounts, for a collection of more than 150 objects and paper-based items from the Memorial's collection in preparation for the ‘Spirit of ANZAC' exhibition to mark the Memorial's 75th anniversary. The items treated included badges, photographs, booklets, books, diaries, membership cards, certificates, letters and telegrams, medals and other personal items.
