Parramatta Justice Precinct heritage interpretation

The Parramatta Justice Precinct (PJP) is located on a site of State heritage significance, which has been primarily used for health services since 1790. It was the site of a series of hospitals from 1790, including the Colonial Hospital of 1818. ICS comprised an integral part of the project team associated with the redevelopment of the PJP site, providing advice and preparing interpretation strategy plans and strategies for various buildings and locations around the site. In addition to preparing Interpretation Plans for buildings and areas such as the Children's Court, Jeffrey House and the Heritage Courtyard, we also developed interpretive themes and designed artwork for the interpretive devices which were installed around the site.

  • Develop Interpretation Strategy and Plans
  • Develop interpretive themes for the PJP site
  • Specify number and type of interpretive devices required for the site
  • Design artwork for interpretive devices
