war memorials and honour boards
"... we will remember them."
Every community in Australia has a war memorial. In main streets. In parks. In schools and in community halls.
As we approach a hundred years since the Great War (WW1), many of those war memorials and honour boards are showing their age.
Weathering of the sandstone and marble; corrosion of the iron and bronze; deterioration of the paint and gilding - we see these all, and more. Graffiti and other damage by vandals is hurtful, to you as well as to the memorial. Well-meant attempts in the past to clean or repair have often caused other problems for the memorials.
We use our specialist skills in materials conservation to solve many of these problems, and to restore your war memorial to a state that respects the service and sacrifice of those it honours.
We can clean, maintain, repair, conserve or restore your war memorial or honour board. Contact us for more information or a quotation.
