After graduating from her studies in Canada, Wendi worked on a collection of artefacts from a paper mill archaeological site for the City of Toronto Heritage Division. She then went on to work as a conservator in a major disaster recovery company (ROSCO Document Division), where she partook in disaster response and recovery projects on many paper based collections of records, documents and library materials. During this time she also carried out conservation treatments on glass plate negatives, transparencies and fibre-based photographic prints.
Wendi joined ICS in 2007 initially in the objects conservation department, and in 2010 joined the paper conservation department. While in this role Wendi has developed her skills and specialisation in conserving artefacts on paper and parchment such as artworks, maps, documents and photographs as well as effectively contributing to disaster recovery activities. Currently Wendi is developing her knowledge in book conservation.
As a committee member of the NSW Division, Wendi actively participates in the activities of the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM). Wendi is also a professional member of the AICCM.
