Exhibition Management

The National Gallery Lambert retrospective exhibition ran from June to September 2007 to great critical acclaim. ICS were commissioned by the NGA to prepare, conserve and transport the three bronzes for the exhibition. The bronzes included the Lawson memorial from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney, the fallen soldier from St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney and the Geelong Grammar School War Memorial. In addition ICS initiated and organised the temporary installation of New Zealand sculptor Michael Parekowhai’s Maori bouncer on the plinth of the Lawson Memorial while the latter was in Canberra coordinating an advisory team of representatives from the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Art Gallery of NSW and the City of Sydney Public Art who funded the installation.
