Description

World Expo 88, held in Brisbane from April to October 1988, included two major cultural exhibitions which were installed by ICS under its former name, Campbell Conservation. One of the exhibitions, "Treasures of the Holy See", was staged by the Vatican, and was one of the most popular pavaillions. ICS were commissioned to undertake the exhibition installation. This included visiting Rome to help select the many highly valuable objects, supervising transport to Brisbane, designing mounts, condition reporting, installing the objects and caring for them whilst on display. The whole process happened in reverse to return the objects to Rome.

Outcomes
