International Polar Heritage Committee Meeting and Open Conference: Conservation Challenges, Solutions and Collaboration Opportunities in Uncontrolled Environments

Julian Bickersteth helped the ICOMOS International Polar Heritage Committee to organise its 2012 meeting and an open conference, which was held in Hobart in March 2012. The meeting and conference was timed to coincide with a series of commemorative events in Hobart to mark the centenary of Roald Amundsen's return to Hobart after the attainment of the South Pole.

Art & About Sydney - Sydney Statues: Project!
Sydney, NSW
Dressed up and flamboyantly decorated, Sydney's historic statues put on their finery for Art and About Sydney 2010. The Sydney Statues: Project! was inspired by the colourful wearable art scene of the 70s and 80s. International Conservation Services provided conservation advice to facilitate this creative intervention whilst protecting these significant statues.
